close는 명사로서 “끝 (end, finish)”이란 뜻.

get (something) over with는 “골치아픈 일, 달갑지 않는 일(something unpleasant)을 끝내 버리다[처리하다]”란 뜻.

e.g. Do finish up [off] the fruit salad ― it'll only go to waste if you don't. 과일샐러드 다 먹어치우도록 해라 ― 안 먹으면 버리게 될테니까.
(4) end (up) with [Formal]
e.g. We ended the dinner up with fruit and coffee. 우린 과일과 커피를 드는 것을 마지막으로 해서 정찬을 끝냈다.
(5) go through (with)
e.g. Call me when you get through, and we'll have dinner together. 일 끝나거든 전화해 줘. 저녁이나 같이 하게.
e.g. I'll call you when I get through with this pile of papers. 이 서류더미를 다 처리하면 전화할게.
e.g. When will you get through with painting the house? 언제 이 집 칠하는 것이 다 끝나겠어?
(6) get (something) over [Informal]
e.g. I'd like to get this over with today. 오늘 중으로 이 일을 끝냈으며 한다.
(7) get (something) finished [Formal]
e.g. I'd like to get this finished today. 오늘 중으로 이 일을 끝냈으며 한다.
(8) get [have] (something) done [Informal]
e.g. I can't get it done by five. 5시까지는 그 일을 끝낼 수가 없다.
(9) get [have] (something) ready [Informal]
e.g. How soon can you get it ready? 언제까지 그 일을 끝낼 수 있습니까?
(10) have (something) over [Informal]
e.g. Don't worry, you'll soon have your operation over. 걱정 말아라. 곧 수술이 끝날테니까.
(11) be over
e.g. When's your class over? 수업이 언제 끝나지?
(12) be (all) over and done with
e.g. You've come too late for the game, it's all over and done with. 너무 늦게 왔어. 경기는 완전히 끝났어.
(13) be through [done, finished]
e.g. When you are through with that book, will you lend it to me? 그 책을 다 보고나면 좀 빌려주시겠습니까?
e.g. Are you finished with your meal? 식사 다 끝내셨습니까?
e.g. He's done with his homework. 그는 숙제를 다 끝냈다.
