1. Description of Services. The Museum and the Institute plan to collaborate on a survey and related publication of a catalog (the "Catalog") of the Museum's permanent collections of Korean art (the "Collection"). The terms governing such survey and publication shall be set forth in a separate, definitive agreement between the parties hereto (the "Co-Publication Agreement") that, when executed by both parties, shall also govern the services contemplated by this agreement. In advance of the execution of the Co-Publication Agreement, the Institute will send a team of photographers and researchers ("Initial Team") to the Museum, at the Institute's sole expense, from approximately July 2, 2007 to July 13, 2007 to photograph, examine, and research the Collection ("Preliminary Work"), under the supervision of the Museum's staff. The museum will determine which artwork in the Collection will be the objects of the Preliminary Work, in consultation with the Institute, and the conditions under which such Preliminary Work will be undertaken, in the Museum's sole discretion,

2. Fee Arrangements. The Institute shall be solely responsible for the payment of any and all fees and expenses incurred by it and its employees, agents, and contractors in connection with the Initial Team's visit to the Museum and the Initial Team's Preliminary Work. The Museum shall have no liability for any payments whatsoever in connection with the services contemplated by this agreement.
