[영어 번역문] The project was carried out for a limited period 20 days under the slogan ‘Quickly, Economically and Beautifully.’ Used were the existing facilities into which an empty space was partitioned off by glasses; the space was divided by mirrors with gold and silver tones, but mainly black and white tones, in harmony among those mirrors. The interior design concept of this place is ‘secret area.’ The place was partitioned off by glasses which enable a person at the entrance to see inside the room. The see-through glass partitions with two coats of reflective films serves as the fence protecting customers’ privacy. For the white door attracting first customers’ eye at the entrance, the existing handle of the hospital was used. A complement to an excessively large pillar on the right is to change mirrors to tile-shaped ones. This has effects of catching the attention of customers and relieving the tedium of them. The wall of the information desk might bore customers due to the high ceiling. So, scoriae were used as a finishing material for the wall construction. This resulted in a continuity of the wall to the corridor. The opposite white walls made of scoriae were painted with white to provide a cushion against excessive opposition between the walls. This space division is a kind of ‘esthetics of sharing’ which has been applied to hospital interior design; it is an unconventional way expressing spaces using a combination of materials and colors.
