⑤ only “오직”․“단지”․“다만 ∼뿐(만)”․“∼에 지나지 않아”․“∼밖에 없는” ex-1) I can tell you only what I know. 알고 있는 것밖에 말할 수 없다. ex-2) I have only thirty won left. 30원밖에 남아 있지 않다. ex-3) Only he remained. 그만이 남았다. ex-4) Only you can guess. 당신만이 추측할 수 있다. =You only can guess. ex-5) You can only guess. 오직 추측할 수밖에 없다. =You can guess only. ex-6) You will succeed only if you do your best. 최선을 다해야 비로서 성공하는 법이다. =You will only succeed if you do your best. ex-7) He tried only to fail. 그는 해보았지만 실패로 끝났을 뿐이다.
