■ 학군단(ROTC) R.O.T.C(Reserve Officers’ Tranining Corps)는 대학 재학생중에서 우수자를 선발하여 2년간의 군사훈련을 실시함으로써 대학의 전공학문 완성과 더불어 소정의 군사 지식과 실무능력을 갖춘 문무겸전의 우수한 장교를 대규모 양성하여 활용할 수 있는 효율성이 매우 높은 제도로 2학년 재학생을 대상으로 우수자를 선발하여 3,4학년 동안 소정의 교내교육과 입영훈련을 거쳐, 졸업과 동시에 장교로 임관하는 것이다. 서울과학기술대학교 학군단은 2005년에 창설되어 2006년부터 후보생 교육을 실시하고 있으며 매년 30여명을 선발, 장교로서의 기본소양은 물론 민주시민, 리더의 자질등을 함양하고 있다. ROTC (Reserve Officers’ Training Corps) is a highly efficient college-based, officer commissioning program. It aims to select excellent students from enrolled undergraduates and hold a 2-year military training exercise to cultivate outstanding commissioned officers with academic capacity as well as required knowledge and practical abilities of military on a large scale. According to this program, outstanding individuals chosen from the second-year grade applicants receive required education in the university and combat training during their third and fourth grade year, and they become an officer after graduation. SEOUL TECH ROTC was found in 2005 and has trained officer’s candidates since 2006. It has selected 30 people to cultivate not only their knowledge of officer but also their qualities of a democratic citizen and leader. ㆍ홈페이지 hhttp://rotc.snut.ac.kr/ ㆍWeblink hhttp://rotc.snut.ac.kr/ ■ 지원자격 Qualifications of the Applicant ○ 임관일 기준 만 20 ∼ 27세 이하의 남자 ○ By standards of the commissioned date, the applicant should be a male student under 20 to 27. ○ 4년제 대학 2학년 재학생으로 3학년 진학 및 졸업학점 취득이 가능하다고 인정되는자 ○ The enrolled second year grade student of a four-year-course college who is acknowledged to get his promotion to the third grade or gain credits to graduate ○ 지원당시 휴학생이라도 3학년 복학이 가능한자 ○ A student who can return to school as a third year although he was a student on a leave of absence when applying for ROTC ○ 5년제학과는 3학년 지원가능 ○ A third year grade student of a five-year-course department can apply for ROTC ○ 각군사관학교 / 사관후보생과정에서 퇴교당하지 아니한자 ○ A student who was not dismissed from the military academy of the entire armed forces or the officer training courses ○ 대학성적이 평점 C학점(2.0)이상사로 신청학점의 80%이상 취득자 ○ A student who gained 2.0 GPA (Grade C) or more and over 80% of his registered credits ■ 지원서 접수 Application ○ 기 간 : 매년 3월 ∼ 4월말 ○ Period: March to the end of April every year ○ 접수방법 : 학생중앙군사학교 인터넷 지원접수 후 학군단 서류제출 ○ Method: To submit the required documents to ROTC after completing online application on the webpage of Army Cadet Command ○ 학군단위치 : 기자재 관리소 / 학군단 건물 2층(59호) ○ Location: Educational Equipment Maintenance Center / Room No. 59 on the 2nd floor of Reserve Officer's Corps ■ 선발 방법 Selection ○ 1차선발 : 서류전형(고교내신성적, 대학성적) 및 실기(체력검정, 면접평가, 신체검사) ○ 1st Selection: Selection of candidates by examining their personal histories (e.g. high school records, and GPA and credits earned in the university) and performance test (e.g. an examination of physical strength, an interview and physical checkup) ○ 최종선발 : 인성검사, 신원조사 결과 포함 종합심의 후 최종선발 ○ Final Selection: A comprehensive review including the results of a personal test and a police clearance |
