■ 학생회 소개 Introduction of Student Council
 
총학생회는 학생회칙이 정하는 바에 따라 입후보한 자에 대해 재학중인 전체학생들의 직접선거에 의해 선출되며, 성실, 협동, 창의를 교훈으로 민주적인 학생 자치활동을 통하여 민주시민으로서 자질을 함양하고 대학문화를 창출하여 자율적 발전을 도모하며 사회와 민주국가발전에 기여할 수 있는 능력 배양을 목적으로 한다.
The president of the student council  is directly elected by the students according to the rules of the council. The student council aims to promote the students’ abilities to contribute to the development of the society and a democratic nation by cultivating the students’ qualification of democratic citizen, creating the campus culture through its independent activities and finally facilitating their voluntary development, based on the university mottos sincerity, cooperation and creativity.

■ 총학생회 구성 및 기능 Organization and Function of Student Council
  
본회는 본회의 목적을 달성하기 위하여 학생총회, 전학대회, 중앙운영위원회, 확대운영위원회, 집행국(부), 학부학생회, 야간학생회, 총여학생회, 동아리연합회, 교지편집위원회, 총 졸업준비위원회, 인권복지위원회, 과학생회를 둔다. 구성 이외의 신규단체를 구성함에 있어서는 전학대회에서 신고 및 승인에 의해 권리를 보장받는다.
To accomplish its purposes, the student council forms the student representative meeting, the whole student meeting, the central working committee, the expansion working committee, the executive department (branch), the student meetings of the schools, the night student council, the female student council, the club association, the university newspaper editorial board meeting, the central graduation preparatory committee, the student rights & welfare committee, and the student meetings of the departments as umbrella organizations. The other new organization should report its foundation to the student representative meeting and obtain the meeting’s approval, in order to guarantee its rights.
 
○ 학생총회
대학의 발전과 학생전체에 관련된 중요한 사항을 토의, 결정하는 최고의결기구이다.
○ The Student council
The student council is the top legislative organ which discusses and decides important matters related to the development of the University and the students.

○ 전체학생대표자대회
중앙운영위원회가 인정하는 모든 직선 대표자들로 구성되며 총회 다음 가는 의사결정 기구이다.
○ The student representative meeting
It consists of all directly-elected representatives acknowledged by the central working committee. It is the next largest legislative organ after the student council.
 
○ 중앙운영위원회
상임의사 결정기구로서 구성은 총학생회장 및 총부학생회장, 각 학부학생회장, 인권복지위원회 위원장, 총여학생회장, 야간학생회장, 동아리연합회 으뜸 빛으로 구성되며 단, 총학생회 집행국(부) 또는 중앙운영위원회에 필요하다고 인정하는 간부는 운영위원 2/3이상의 찬성으로 참석할 수 있다.
○ The central working committee
The central working committee is the standing legislative organ. It consists of the president of the student council, the vice-president of the student council, the president of each school, the chairperson of the student rights& welfare committee, the president of the female student council, the president of the night student council, the president of the club association. If the necessity for the executive’s participation for the committee is acknowledged by the central executive department or the central working committee, the relevant person can participate in the committee by two-thirds of its members.

○ 중앙 집행국
총학생회장, 총부학생회장 각 집행국(부)장 및 차장으로 구성되며 본회의 최고집행기구이다.
○ The central executive department
It consists of the president of the student council, the vice-president of the student council, and the head and the vice-head of each part of the central executive department. It is the top enforcement organ of the student council.

○ 학부학생회
각 학부의 모든 회원으로 구성되며 각 학부의 최고 자치기구이다. 각 학부 학생회는 학부학생들의 자치활동을 위한 제반업무를 담당하며 원활한 업무수행을 위하여 운영위원회 및 집행부를 둘 수 있다.
○ The student meetings of the schools
Each of the student meetings of the schools consists of its all members. It is the top independent organ of the relevant school. It can form the steering committee and the executive branch to conduct all the business affairs for independent activities of the students of the relevant school.

○ 동아리연합회
동아리연합회에서 등록된 중앙 동아리로 구성되며 동아리연합회는 전 동아리의 민주적 자치를 위한 대표기구이다. 동아리연합회의 으뜸 빛, 버금 빛을 동아리연합회 내에서 직접선거로 선출하며 동아리 으뜸 빛은 전 동아리를 대표하여 중앙운영위원이 되고 동아리의 자치적 활동에 필요한 제반업무를 담당한다.
○ The club association
The club association is the representative organ for the democratic independence of all the clubs of the University. The president of the club association is appointed by a direct election. The president joins the central working committee as a representative of the club association, and he/she is in charge of all the business affairs necessary to the independent activities of the clubs.
 
○ 학생복지위원회
인권복지위원회 위원장, 부위원장은 반대표(각 학과, 각반)에 의해 선출하며 인권복지위원장은 중앙운영위원이 된다. 인권복지위원회의 자율적 활동을 위해 기타 필요한 사항은 인권복지위원회의 자치회칙에 따른다.
○ The student rights & welfare committee
The chairperson and the vice-chairperson of the student rights & welfare committee is elected by the representatives of classes (of each department). The chairperson is entitled to be a member of the central working committee. The other necessary matters for the autonomous activities of the student rights & welfare committee follow its autonomy rules.

○ 총졸업준비위원회
총졸업준비위원회는 졸업과 사회진출에 관한 업무를 관할하는 상설특별 기구이며 회원이 될 자격은 본회의 각과 졸업준비위원장과 졸업이 가능한 본회의 회원으로 구성한다.
○ The central graduation preparatory committee
The central graduation preparatory committee is the special standing organ in charge of the students’ graduation and employment. It consists of the chairperson of the graduation preparatory committee of each department and graduates-to-be.

○ 교지편집위원회
총학생회 상설 특별기구로서 교지발간 등을 위한 제반업무를 담당하며 독자성과 전문성으로 편집권 및 예산집행의 자율권을 가진다.
○ The university newspaper editorial board meeting
It is a special standing organ of the student council. It handles all the business affairs of the publication of the university newspaper. It has autonomy of editing and budget execution by its identity and professionalism.
