Fourth, 'improving imagination' invites the participants to refute stereotypes of roles and approach the character staring from themselves. 'Improving imagination' enabled these participants to make a feature of the character by discussion (i.e. making the character as a character playing a role through 'emotional state' and 'vicarious experience'), based on the Bandura's 'linguistic persuasion' which improves a sense of self-efficacy by the positive feedback, Finally, the dram play program 'making role' is one of the methods approaching the character of the script. The role was re-established by themselves other than the character of the script. 'Making role' enabled the participants to have a pride in their role with the belief and expectation (i.e. they can play the role) observing others' performance. This program was identical to Bandura's 'vicarious experience.' In conclusion, the drama play enabled senior citizens to correctly recognize 'ego' of them to have confidence of a rise in self-esteem and self-efficacy which fell due to the loss of role. Further, it helped them make a realistic role based on their lives of the past and re-recognize the role based their various experiences. The drama play will contribute to the psychologically-depressed senior citizens who want to improve a sense of self-efficacy with emotional stability and by shaking off their inferiority and anxiety. |
