이러한 경향은 크게 세 가지 정도의 흐름으로 나타난다. 미개척 세계와의 만남을 꿈꾸거나, 쉽게 찾기 힘든 낯선 문화와 원시적 요소들을 닥치는 대로 믹스하기, 그리고 소위 ‘약빤’ 문화로 불리는, 금기시되는 것들을 맘껏 끌어내고 즐기기이다.
