Alexander : Well, tell me, how did Michael work out? ) Are you glad you hired him? )
Tom: Yes, I'm amazed at the quality of his work and it's all perfect. Not one error. )
Alexander : Good. ) He impressed me at the interview. ) That's for sure. )
* How did Mr. Lee work out?
이때의 work out은 “어떻게 되어가다(develop well/badly; turn out successfully/a failure)"란 뜻.
e.g. Did your plan work out?
e.g. I'm sure things will work out for the best in the end.
e.g. How did your plan work out?
e.g. How did everything come out?
e.g. How did you come out?
e.g. How did it go? [Informal] 어떻게 되었지?
* I'm amazed (at) ~에 놀라다
e.g. What a surprise! I've never dreamed of that sort of thing.
e.g. I was amazed at his diligence.
* all (perfect) 완전히 (entirely)
e.g. The cake is all gone.
* That's for sure.
