그 사건이 일어난 지 1년반후 난 SHSID(Shanghai High school International Division) 라는 학교로 전학 왔다. 미국잡지 such as, People, TIMES, and Science, 미국인 친구들, 학교 클럽활동 등미국생활과의 많은 유사점을 보고 배웠다.
I transferred to SHSID (Shanghai High school International Division) one and half years after the accident. This is because I have had a dream of entering a university in US since childhood. SHSID is an international school consisting of foreign students. This school has an atmosphere of middle and high schools in the US. All courses were given in English, and there were no Chinese students. Its students can come across them because there were many cultures in the school. In particular, I had never been to US, but I could experience American culture through its US-style classes. There were a school bus, a large lawn, American magazines such as People, TIMES and Science, American friends, and club activities which appeared frequently in American movies. (There are not many schools with a lawn in Korea.) I learned many things through the similarities with American life. The learning American culture in advance was a good experience not only for me aiming to enter a university in the US and but also for my future's life there.
