나의 경영학적인 시각은 3학년 방학시절 낮에는 AAA u.s.a. 패션유통회사 한국지사 RMD 팀에서 인턴생활을 저녁에는 brand management academy(certificate 취득)과정을 들으며 더욱 탄탄해질 수 있었다. 이렇듯 실무와 이론을 통해 쌓아온 광고와 마케팅에 대한 나의 관심은 ‘The Fall of Advertising and The Rise of PR’by Al Ries을 읽으며 PR로 이어졌다. 그리고 PR Academy를 수강하며 기사나 캠페인 메시지 등 글을 통해 대중과 소통한다는 점에 있어 형태는 다르지만 광고에서 느꼈던 매력을 다시 한번 경험하게 되었다. 대중과의 신뢰(인문학)를 바탕으로 경제적 효과(경영학)를 창출해내는 PR이야말로 인문과 경영 모두에 흥미를 두고 있는 내게 적합한 분야라고 확신했다.

The following two things helped me establish viewpoints of business administration during senior vacation; I received an internship form the RMD Team of the Korean branch of AAA, a fashion distribution company of USA, and attended the brand management academy by night. (I acquired a certificate from the academy.) Likewise, I improved my ability of advertisement and marketing through the theories and practices. The book “The Fall of Advertising and The Rise of PR”, written by Al Ries, motivated me to be interested in a new field of PR. Attending the PR Academy, I read texts such as articles and campaign messages. This enabled me to discover that PR and advertisement have a similarity of public communication through texts although their forms are different from each other. So, I had confidence that PR creating economic effects (from an angle of business administration) based on public confidence (from an angle of humanities) is an appropriate field for me in that I was interested in both business administration and humanities.
