As a result, there is no significance in the path of child-rearing attitudes of fathers of university students through self-differentiation to self-esteem is not significant. On the contrary, the path of child-rearing attitudes of mothers of university students through self-differentiation to self-esteem had a significant intermediate effect (.482, p < .001). So, self-differentiation functions as a parameter of the relationship between those mothers' child-rearing attitudes and self-esteem. In conclusion, this research has an importance in that it made clear the following two things. One is to that child-rearing attitudes of parents of university students perceived by them affect the self-differentiation level and self-esteem of them. The other is that self-differentiation has intermediate effects on the relationship between the parents' child-rearing attitudes and the university students' self-esteem. |
