In conclusion, the formation of various jang dan (長 短 rhythm) construction of Ogui-gut is a characteristic of distinguishing jang dan. In particular, a habitual set of rhythm can be observed in each jangdan. The 8 beats (8/2) of the first chapter of punuri is played on the basis of a set of rhythm 2+2+2+2 but it can be performed in variously-combined constructions (e.g. 4+4, 5+3, 3.5+4, 5+2.5, etc.). In the 10 beats (10/4) of the second chapter of derunggangee there are a lot of rhythm-combined constructions (e.g. 4+4+2, 5+5, 6+4, 4.5+5.5, etc.). The rhythm-combined constructions (e.g. 2+2+2+2, 3+3+2, etc.) based on the combination of grouping small beats are remarkable in the first chapter of derunggangee. As suggested above, the sets of rhythm (2, 3, 3.5, 4.5, etc.) consist of a constant of type of rhythm. For the unit beat of the beat system, half note, eighth note, and small beat are identical to each other. Given than a set of rhythm equals to each other, jangdan can be played by the substitution of them. Therefore, the variously-combined rhythm constructions enable each jangdan to be peformed extempore, based on the formal constructions of the East Coast Ogui-gut (i.e. unit jangdan, contrastive jangdan, and big paragraph-jangdan).
