한국어 원문 수업은 일제 강점기 여성노동자들과 1970년대 여성노동자들의 삶을 주제로 총 4차시로 구분하였다. 1차시에서는 일제 강점기 여성노동자의 삶을 다루면서 가부장제 이데올로기 아래 차별과 폭력 그리고 저항의 역사를 살펴보았다. 2차시에서는 1970년대 여성노동자들을 둘러싼 직접적 폭력과 저항의 모습을 다루었다. 여성노동자들은 정체성의 욕구를 부정하는 차별과 소외에 맞서 작업 현장에서 벌어지는 폭력적이고 비인격적인 대우에 저항하였다. 3차시에서는 직접적 폭력을 이끌어내는 틀인 구조적 폭력과 저항의 모습을 다루었다. 여성노동자의 저임금은 경제 성장 제일주의 정책 아래 국가 주도 캠페인과 억압적인 노동 관련 법률들, 그리고 결혼퇴직제등과 연관되었다. 여성노동자들은 여성노동문제를 사회 구조적인 문제로 인식하고 민주 노조를 일궈가며 조직적으로 저항하였다. 마지막으로 4차시에서는 직접적 폭력과 구조적 폭력을 정당화시키는 가부장제 이데올로기를 중심으로 한 문화적 폭력과 저항의 모습을 다루었다. 폭력의 내용으로 성장 과정에서 남녀차별 현상, ‘현모양처’ 여성상이 여성노동자에게 끼친 영향, 공장 밖의 남녀 위계질서가 공장 안에서 재현되는 모습, 남성 중심 사고방식이 내면화된 결과를 살펴보았다. 그러나 여성노동자들은 이러한 현실에 순응하지 않고 배움을 통해 자아 정체성을 형성하고, 소모임 활동으로 참여와 소통의 문화를 만들어갔다. 또한 남성 중심의 위계 구조와 질서에 도전하며 가부장적인 관습과 편견에 저항하였다. 영어 번역문 The learning of life history divides female workers and their life into Japanese colonial era and the 1970s into four periods. Finally, in the fourth period, it discusses cultural violence which emphasizes the patriarchal ideology justifying direct violence and structural violence, and female workers' resistance. This lesson examines the following issues on violence against female workers: (1) a phenomenon of sex discrimination in the process of female workers' growth, (2) an influence of images of a good-wife-and-wise-mother-type female workers, (3) an order of male-centered rank in factories influenced by social, cultural conditions in the world out of factories. (4) the result of internalized male-centered thinking. I deals with female workers' resistance against the male-centered society in the lesson. The examples of their resistance are as follows: (1) not to surrender to the society aggressive and violent toward women, but to form their self-identity through receiving an education, (2) to create their own cultures of building up an equal human relations with other members of the society, by getting chances, being involved in the important social matters actively, and communicating efficiently through various activities done in small groups, (3) to challenge the man-centered social hierarchy, and (4) to resist the custom of patriarchism and the social bias. |
