This research aims to explore the important factor of the identity design of self-government body and to suggest a successful case of identity design. The other is that as materials for symbol mark, the utilization of ka mon and letters, in particular Chinese characters, which can represent Japanese culture, is considerably frequent. These results of analysis will contribute to give materials for the work of identity design of self-government bodies to be introduced and for a comparative study of design of symbol marks of Korean and Japanese self-government bodies. |
